  3. June 1st brings you the 50th Issue of ModemNews Magazine and it will be
  4. released in the following formats. We would like your comments.
  5.  
  6. MNEWS50.ZIP             Our original DOS ANSI version of ModemNews
  7.                         Magazine and required(!) for all DOS based
  8.                         NewsStands, and optional for others. This
  9.                         edition is the only one that can be sent via
  10.                         RelayNet autosend each month.
  11.  
  12. MNEWS50.CPT             Our Macintosh edition and REQUIRED for all MAC
  13.                         based NewsStands. Optional for others, though
  14.                         we would hope you would not leave your MAC
  15.                         users out of this.
  16.  
  17. MNTBK50.ZIP             ModemNews for Windows! Created using Asymetrix
  18.                         Toolbook v1.53. (Multi-Media) This edition will
  19.                         need the Toolbook runtime modules 1.53 that can
  20.                         be downloaded as RTBK153.ZIP from our BBS. This
  21.                         edition is optional for NewsStands, though we
  22.                         would hope you would start to carry it on a
  23.                         regular basis in addition to the ANSI edition
  24.                         and features graphics MIDI music (while you
  25.                         read). We are moving towards this edition as
  26.                         our standard.

  28. MNTEXT50.ZIP            The TEXT files from the articles that will
  29.                         appear in the above editions of ModemNews. This
  30.                         edition is created for those who use computer
  31.                         platforms that cannot make use of any of the
  32.                         other editions, such as the Amiga and CoCo.
  33.                         This is, of course, optional. It is released in
  34.                         a format that can be used with the BBS Door
  35.                         program READROOM. A runtime is included for
  36.                         your home reading pleasure.
